Congratulations to our Junior Infant children who win the Golden Boot this term. An amazing 78% of them used green modes of travel on their journey to school this term! Overall, 63% of the children took part in Walk on Wednesday since September – 16% walked to school; 38% parked and strode; 8% carpooled or travelled by bus; and 1% cycled or scooted. Do continue to use green methods of travel over the coming year but remember to wear a reflective armband/bag or hi-viz clothing during the darker days to come.
