Sincere thanks to our kind volunteers for planting a mini orchard on our school grounds last Saturday. Funded by a Wicklow Co. Council Tree Grant, the orchard comprises four apple trees, two pear trees, two plum trees and two cherry trees. It will bring lasting benefits to our pupils, providing them with a beautiful space to learn, play and grow.
The orchard offers a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning about biodiversity, sustainability and healthy living. We are truly grateful to our volunteers for their time, effort and care in making this vision a reality. We look forward to watching the trees grow, to learning about them and to picking fruit in the years to come.
