As part of its study of World War 1, Fifth Class enjoyed reading the novel ‘War Game’ by Michael Foreman. They also examined the poem ‘In Flanders Field’ by John Mc Crae and painted pictures inspired by its images.

On Sunday 29th November, members of the school choir led by Ms. Seoighe sang Christmas carols at a craft fair in Kilruddery. The craft fair was a fundraiser for Bray Lakers. Both the choir and its audience enjoyed themselves.
Well done to all the children who made beautiful Christmas Tree decorations out of recycled materials. 5th Class children are studying World War 1 at present and are presenting projects that they have created. While most of the children chose to use Powerpoint, a few of them used their artistic skills to replicate life in the trenches.

On Monday 12 October, the children from 5th and 6th Class went to Corkagh Park in Clondalkin to do a Maths Trail.
