We planted bluebell bulbs under the big tree at the top of the hill, as bluebells like a woodland environment. Ben helped us to make holes for the bulbs. Guzzler visited First Class on Friday 6th November. We taught him a lot about saving energy and not wasting energy. We hope he’s not guzzling up energy any more.
We have been exploring magnets and magnetism. We investigated which materials were attracted to the magnet and which were not. We also explored through which materials the magnet could attract the relevant metals (paper clips, copper coins, nails, etc.). We’re now busy designing and making magnetic games and mazes.
First Class are really looking forward to our upcoming autumnal walk. We will use all our senses to explore the woods in autumn.
