Maths week saw 3rd class undertaking a hunt for 3-D shapes around the school grounds. We also watched some Maths magic on Maths TV, learning some calculator tricks of our own. 3rd Class took advantage of the good weather in September to collect natural objects to create Mandalas, which we subsequently used as inspiration for our printing in Art.  

3rd Class had a spook-tastic day at Ghoul School on Thursday. Not only did we get to parade around the school in our costumes, we also created our own moveable skeletons, competed in the Best Mummy competition, performed dance routines to the Ghostbuster theme tune and teepeed the teacher! Congratulation to Ms. Murphy and 3rd class for their performance of ‘Silent Night’. The children showed great acting, strength and courage on the night. A thoroughly enjoyable performance!
