Basketball blitz

Cool Planet

The Cool Planet Experience, which will open later this year on Powerscourt Estate, visited 5th Class last Wednesday with Philip Smyth and Patti Walsh conducting an informative, enjoyable and interactive workshop with the children on climate change. 

Funtasia

The children in 5th Class used money earned by “Glorious Gifts” to pay for their school tour to Funtasia. They enjoyed the Ultimate Sky Climb and Zipline, played crazy golf, went bowling, spent two hours in the Waterpark and visited the Haunted House. Design and Make

Over the last few weeks, the children in 5th Class have been examining electricity. They have designed simple circuits, investigated switches, made series circuits, sent Morse Code messages and examined how parallel circuits work. Have a look at some of our scientists in action.
