On Sunday 22 May 2016 seven swimmers travelled down to the Watershed in Kilkenny to represent St. Mary’s & St. Gerard’s N.S. at the Leinster B Schools Swimming Championships. Our swimmers: Gabrielle Byrne, Ailbhe Gordon, Aimée Gross, Isobel Gross, Ethan Hughes-Naylor, Aisling Lyons and Ciara Redden swam fantastically, achieving 14 P.B.s, Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. Isobel Gross took 3.91s off her P.B. and claimed Bronze in the 10 year old 50m Breaststroke. Our Under 10 Relay Team of Ailbhe Gordon, Isobel Gross, Ciara Redden and Gabrielle Byrne claimed Gold in the Medley Relay and Silver in the Freestyle Relay.
