2nd Class have green fingers!! Look at our harvest! We harvested our sizeable turnips, spinach and lettuce plants and transplanted our carrots. We enjoyed a fantastic day up in Pine Forest. We started with a walk through the beautiful surroundings. Later, we were taught to make moveable lizards. The children all did a fantastic job!
2nd Class children challenged themselves to work together, in groups, to solve a logical problem. They all worked really effectively together and solved the problem successfully.
2nd Class are enjoying games and developing their skills with their two GAA coaches. It’s great to see past pupils returning and sharing their skills with us.
2nd Class enjoyed a trip to Knocksink to investigate the tadpoles, analyse soil and enjoy a lovely picnic by the river. Who would want to live anywhere else?
Thanks to the PA and 6th Class for organising the East Egg Hunt for us. We had great fun collecting our eggs and even got a photo with the Easter Bunny! Afterwards, we enjoyed some Easter crafts, ipads and Lego, before heading home for our Easter Holidays!
Everyone enjoyed dressing up in our greens for Lá glas, just one of the fantastically fun days in our Seachtain na Gaeilge.
