Recyclable Christmas Tree Decorations Competition
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas! The children have been busy making Christmas Tree decorations out of recycled materials. Two winning entries will be chosen to represent the school at the Wicklow Co. Council final. Have a look at some of this year’s beautiful decorations.
Global Citizenship Food and Biodiversity Awareness Survey
As we start work on the 10th theme of the Green Schools’ Programme, the Green Schools’ Committee recently conducted an awareness survey in all classes of food and biodiversity. These were our results:
September in 2nd Class
September saw us exploring the outdoors, creating a senses tree using items we found on our sense walk. We created Artwork using recycled paper. We also created portraits of ourselves.
Fun in 2nd Class during Maths Week
Things got very competitive and we had great fun playing Maths games and building Lego during Maths week.
