The Green Schools’ committee received some wonderful news today from Green Schools’ Ireland: “Congratulations! We are thrilled to inform you that your school has been chosen as‘Wicklow County Winner’ for this year’s Big Travel Challenge! We want to thank you for your enthusiastic participation and outstanding efforts in the competition!” Well done, everyone!
Wow! Wow! Wow! Fantastic Swimming at the Irish Minor Schools Championships
On the first weekend of the Easter Holidays, five girls journeyed out to the NAC to represent St. Mary’s & St. Gerard’s N.S. at the Irish Minor Schools Championships. Easter Prayer Service
Congratulations to Fourth Class, who led our Easter Prayer Service this year. Our First Class Debate
Fourth Class had their first debate recently in the hall. The motion being debated was ‘Homework Should Be Banned in Primary Schools’. We had a very enthusiastic and entertaining debate and the children showed very good presentation skills and were well able to support their opposing views. Well done everyone!
